Q - What is a BOINC project?
A - BOINC project definition: A BOINC project is a website and associated server set up by an individual or group to distribute applications (software which is a set of instructions for executing tasks in a computing device) to BOINC volunteer computing devices that are deliberately attached to receive, process and return the results of the application for further research.
